fashion designing!

Every fashion junkie must think of either two things in life; modelling or fashion designing. Just the thought of having the clothes you've designed on the runway with the best models in the world strutting the clothes down the runway, it's just an indulgence.

I sure have thought about modelling, and while i'm currently working on that, i've also moved my focusing point to designing. I've only gotten as far as making one bag, but i do sketches everywhere, and i mean everywhere. Where i'm supposed to do work in class, i draw heels, bags or clothes.

So, to honour the designers, heres my sketches and designs. I have way more, but these are just my favourites :)

as some of you know, i live in australia, so here it's beginning to get into winter!

i am so excited for winter, the layering, scarves, pants, stocking, the list goes on!

so, here i have devised only 4 outfits, but these are outfits fit for any occasion.

hello!!

well, i recently visited http://www.thatschic.blogspot.com/ (yes i am promoting her blog, lol) whom i met on mka style.com and she has a lot of stuff about photoshop on her blog, so i totally got inspired again to have fun on photoshop, but this time i actually came through with a couple of pieces! i am so excited to show you all my creations!

Okay, so we all know that designers need new, fresh ideas, but i just have to ask, what's the with heels on Prada & Miu Miu's new collection?

They are shaped as flowers, teacups and just really wide. I think they're quite strange, but then again, some people might like them?

Last Night!

Well, you all know i went to dinner last night, and after that i went to a small gathering with like a few of us and yeah, last night was great!

I suppose i should stop typing and just post the photos, so here they are;

Currently.. 11.59am

OMG! There's one minute left of my being 13.. Well i'm actually tecnically not 14 until 2.56pm in the arvo, but still!
Well, i just thought i'd let you all know what i did tonight.
I had dinner, and yes, everyone liked me shoes! Then afterwards we got ice cream and figured out what we were going to do. Me and two other friends were bored and found this quiet get-together just up the road from us (all our other posse had gone home..). We went there, and it was fun because the house was massively humungous (excuse the spelling..) and so we had fun. There weren't many people there but we all just sat around and talked.
By that time i had a crown that said 'Birthday Girl' on it and everyone who saw me in the street was whistling and singing happy birthday which i found absolutely embarassing!
Anyway, we all went home at about 11.30 and i've stayed up since just looking around on the net waiting for 12.00am to come.
And it has!
I'm officially a 14 year-old, i know it's totally young, but i don't care!
I am in love with the shoes i got, i will guard my life with them and make sure they are kept safe, at this very moment i am wearing them with bed socks because i feel good in them.
I know i'm pretty weird, but hey, who cares?
I just love all my friends and family, they mean so much to me.
And don't worry, i'll have the pictures of my birthday dinner on here as soon as i upload them (too much for me to do now..).

myer vs david jones

the two major retailers in australia are david jones & myer. these both definately are still in the fight to be the best store for aussies. though they both might still sell the infamous louboutins & the manolos, they still miss out on the sale because of their stock. most people love to shop at the actual burberry store than have someone in myer try for 2 hours to find their size only to find that it's the colour you don't want.
hm..
let's say, there's a beloved coat you want from.. Gucci? alright, so heres the deal:
david jones is down the road and you are at starbucks which is across the road from myer, you choose to walk to the david jones or find the coat in myer? you choose myer, simply because it is closer. but did you ever think that they might not have your size, colour or exact style? david jones on the other hand, has the complete f/w 07/08 collection and will definately have your size, so why not there? you are obviously drawn to myer more because you figure they are a 'major retailer' and will definately have it if they are fighting to win your trust as best retailer.
suppose you should've gone to david jones, eh?

castlereagh street

for those who do not live in australia, then you probably don't have a clue what castlereagh street is, am i right?
well, like fifth avenue in nyc and rodeo drive in la, castlereagh street is where it's all happening. chanel, louis vuitton, gucci and bvlgari are just a few major fashion brand names that make up this classic and chic castlereagh street.
but why so much fuss about this whole 'major stores on this street' theory?
people on the street have said that the store-owners knew that it was better to have all the major brand names on one street, so people could have more freedom to wonder from shop to shop and not have to walk as far, plus to make more of a profit if all the stores are in a row!
well, in fact, hermes is not situated on castlereagh but is in fact on Elizabeth Street (Corner of Market Street). but not to worry, this is quite near to the beloved castlereagh! ;)
guess we just can't have the stores away from each other, they might begin to get cold!!
