castlereagh street

for those who do not live in australia, then you probably don't have a clue what castlereagh street is, am i right?
well, like fifth avenue in nyc and rodeo drive in la, castlereagh street is where it's all happening. chanel, louis vuitton, gucci and bvlgari are just a few major fashion brand names that make up this classic and chic castlereagh street.
but why so much fuss about this whole 'major stores on this street' theory?
people on the street have said that the store-owners knew that it was better to have all the major brand names on one street, so people could have more freedom to wonder from shop to shop and not have to walk as far, plus to make more of a profit if all the stores are in a row!
well, in fact, hermes is not situated on castlereagh but is in fact on Elizabeth Street (Corner of Market Street). but not to worry, this is quite near to the beloved castlereagh! ;)
guess we just can't have the stores away from each other, they might begin to get cold!!
